Following art school in Wales in the 1980’s then several years in London as a commercial artist, a passion for adventure in the wild outdoors took Steve to Scotland where he now lives and works. He is a past member of the Society of Industrial Artists & Designers, and now holds a BA in Visual Communication with Distinction from the University of Abertay, Dundee. He regularly updates his skills in painting and printmaking to develop his own style of work, often attending Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee and Edinburgh colleges of art, having also studied theatre design in Glasgow. Other work includes creative arts facilitation and interpretation projects, in addition to running his own visual art and crafting classes in both the UK and abroad. For information see Tuition. His work features in galleries, and he regularly exhibits through Open Studios North Fife.

He is currently Artist in Residence at the Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve at Rahoy, in Movern. View further information and the Blog.
