Sketch & Paint at Kellie – Saturday 27th July

Hope you can make the next event at Kellie Castle, Fife on Saturday 27th July 10am – 3.30pm ‘Sketch & Paint at Kellie’. Lots of supportive advice and demonstrations to guide you through the day using a selection of media – watercolour, inks, charcoal and graphite – to capture your experience. This is a great opportunity to develop your creativity with others at this wonderful National Trust for Scotland property that dates from the 14th century, spending time in the Arts & Crafts garden with its vibrant floral displays and stunning aspects of the castle. If not already a member, why not join the NTS on the day and get access to all their other venues around Scotland!

£45 includes all materials and equipment for the day – easels, papers, paints, drawing materials etc. – and access to the garden. Kellie Castle is situated near Pittenweem, Anstruther, in Fife KY10 2RE. Just contact me to book your place.

Sketching, beer & music near Berwick on Tweed!

This coming weekend the 13th and 14th July, the Horncliffe Beer & Music Festival near Berwick on Tweed is the place to be. The Events Team have put together a family-friendly event packed full of music, food and arts – and I’ll be there too! There’s free entry, so come and join me and share in some lively sketching of the goings on – the bands, the food, the dancing… I’ll have lots of materials on hand for those who’d like to have a go using charcoal or line & wash. You can also purchase a sketchbook and materials to use on the day, and then add to after the event – and maybe sign up for some forthcoming classes while you’re there!
