Hope to see you at Beatrice’s (156th!) Birthday Party 29th Feb 2020 at the wonderful Hill of Tarvit Edwardian mansion house in Fife. This promises to be an exciting open day full of fun and entertainment to celebrate the life of Beatrice Sharp. I’ll be there with ‘Meet the Artist Watch & Try’ sessions, where I’ll be showing a painting being created throughout the day. Please note though, I’ll not be giving instruction at this event – come to my Hill of Tarvit art retreat 13th-15th March, or look at the Tuition page for other upcoming dates, if this is something that interests you. This will be a full day of activities, including music recitals and fun things to do for children.
Here’s the leaflet for my forthcoming residential retreat at the wonderful Edwardian mansion at Hill of Tarvit, Fife managed by the National Trust for Scotland, on 13th-15th March 2020. Many thanks to Geraldine Graf, Hospitality & Events Manager for the invitation, and putting this all together. Following an evening welcome and briefing on the Friday, there will be two full days of tuition in the Great Hall, conservatory, and – weather permitting – the glorious gardens. See the leaflet for more details. Contact Hill of Tarvit Mansion for booking, and by all means get in touch with me if you would like more information about what will be covered. All materials are supplied, but by all means bring along your favourite things, if you would like to.
I’m now registered as a tutor with Wild at Art Scotland, the creative travel experts. Check out their website for all the fantastic things they have to offer.
Quick update – I’m recently returned from visiting the wonderful Hotel Leone, in Montelparo, Le Marche, owned and run by Madeline and Tim, and seeing all the wonderful locations we will be going to on my retreat ‘From Sketch to Success’ 20th-27th October 2020. It really will be a stunningly beautiful area in which to join the group for painting, and the service and facilities at the hotel are truly impeccable. The hotel have taken bookings already, so get in touch and you may also get a good deal on flights. While there, I also met with artist Fiona Forbes (who’s also from Fife as it happens! – now living in Wiltshire), so we’ve teamed up to advertise each of our two retreats in our own areas aswell. Below the hotel photos, you’ll see the flyer, which it would be great if you could circulate. More updates soon!
