Teaching art throughout Scotland. Workshops can be held at inspiring locations, for adults just starting out or at any level of experience. Just meet at the venue. These are both indoors and out in stately homes, castles, gardens, galleries, cafés, parks, at hills and forests, involving landscapes, urban cityscapes – even film locations! See leaflet below:

Depending on the venue, you may be outside free style sketching with graphite and charcoal, or making detailed drawings with pencil and using water-based paints or inks. Indoor options can include collage, monoprinting or working from your photographs. All materials supplied. Don’t worry if you lack creative confidence – all workshops are supportive and fun with a mixture of demonstrations, instruction and positive feedback. Those more experienced may wish to focus on accurate observation skills, composition, perspective, tonal range, and use of colour. If on holiday, why not take home something hand crafted in Scotland – by you!
